Hi All
I got problem doing this tutorial

Creating the logo effect from Matrix (http://www.highend3d.com/maya/tutorials/harley1/)

When I got to this step.

"Select particleshape1 and open the expression editor.Add the runtime expression
index=rand(1,26);"

It dont work, I add the expression, and nothing happend..
The rest of the toturial is ok ...

can someone help me please.... :banghead: :banghead:

Did you set the Object index to index in the instancer node.

If you haven't it will just be a's or what ever is first in the instancer list.

Hey,
Not to sure if this is right cant remember but i did that tutorial not to long ago and i had the same prob try putting it in the creation expression instead of the runtime... let us know if im wrong and ill go through it again.
