Hi, this is one of current works in progress. Her leather jacket is giving me a lot of headache concerning the folds and texture. I would really be happy if anyone could give me some advice on it and also on how I can improve the painting. Oh, just to add; she's meant to be gripping a katana in her other hand.

Leather is very hard to render. Use a reference photo and you will save yourself no end of headaches - it's always better to paint what is, instead of trying to imagine what it might be.
