Hi I have a scene where instanced geometry (say some arrows) shoot toward a deforming sphere (softbody), whenever the particle collide with the sphere, the particle stop and stick at the surface, what I am trying to do is to make the arrows 'follow' the deformation of the sphere.
Currently, I use custom rotation vector to orient the arrows, while it is easy to 'align' the arrow with the sphere's normal, but I don't know how to maintain their impact orientation of the arrow while following the surface movement.
I have uploaded a demo scene to explain what I mean. (I have cached out the deformation in my original scene, so to obtain the deforming sphere, you need to make it softbody and attached it the turbulence field again.)
