CGTalk - Selection Sets

I swear I've made a selection set of faces before, but maybe that was Max because I can't seem to find anything on in Maya.

Is there a way to make a group of faces or vertices into a selection set so you can reselect them quickly?

there is definately a way to do it because i was doing it last night.
but i can't remember where the menu option is to do it.

try the help files maybe.
or just wait around here and i'm sure someone will come running to your aid.
but it can be done.

just remembered how to do it.

select the faces/ verts.
then .... create>sets>quick set selection.

something like that.

aaaahhh, that's was it is! man, sometimes you drive yourself crazy...i was looking in the edit menu at the quick select selection option, and I guess it was throwing me off. i quess i need lay off the pipe. :eek:
