-It's not meant to be 100% accurate to the mitsubishi evolution.
-it's not meant to look like any of the cars in the movie, just the same sort of street racing style.
-I posted it here to motivate me to continue rather then throw it in the trash.
-This is my first non tutorial model. I'm slow as hell and not very good.

I have tried detaching the doors and hood but I couldn't make any good sharp edges but I might have figured out how to do it and make it look good. Also when I add weight or crease to the model and then continue working on the model the weight or crease disappears. So I guess that will be the last thing I do.

I might have to remake the whole rear, don't like that part but it might look better when I sharpen some of the edges. and add more detail.

I haven't had time to do anything until yesterday (been working two jobs)... Anyway added some detail. Gonna add side mirrors and stuff like that now.

kool man! I haven't really ever modelled a car but this looks damn nice to me.. the pic is kinda small but it looks nice from what I can tell. Model the engine and then pop the hood. ;)

Nice car you got here ;)
Clean mesh, nice looking design overall (hey, it does resemble evo8 much)

Looks promising, keep it coming! :scream:

ignore the lights, I didn't understand how to make them and I just did a test to see....

It has alot of small flaws (where the wheels should be and around the rear door...) but the final render will be pretty far away and with texture you won't see them.

Texture help? If anyone would like to texture it that would be cool. All I can give you is credit and a thanks. :p I'm looking for something like this (attached img), could be an exact copy that's ok... And it will probably take at least a month for me to finish the car so no rush. Give me an e-mail or pm if you are interested.

Just though I would bump this... looks like I have to fix the bodywork around the wheels.

I still need texture help. The final render will be two cars lined up facing opposite directions, so maybe those cars could have different textures.

Inside doors/ floor and some small tweaking left then I'll add light and textures. Anyway It's going ok, it looks about as good as I wanted it to look. Obviously not photorealistic, I don't care much for that sort of modelling. Learn alot from going all the way through and finishing a model. This will be my first non tutorial and first finished model. :) My goal is to model characters this was meant to be a spline learning experience but I couldn't figure out splines so I went with poly as you can see.

Not to bad considering I got 3dsmax this May.
