View Full Version : MEL Wish: Script Editor Panel

Well I've started learning MEL, and one script I'd LOVE to find is a script that hosts the Script editor in a Panel. I'd threaten to build one myself, but HEH, I'm just learning!

Has anyone seen this BEAST? I already hate have the script editor window floating in front of either my text editor or Maya. A panel version would be SWELL.

Hey stzaske, I've just started learning MEL too and by golly a script panel would be handy, everytime i click in a viewport it minimises, which is beginning to be a real pain. I can't believe anybody has written a script for this, and the maya interface is highly customisable....pffffttt :surprised j/k looks like we'll have to script one ourselves unless anyone knows a workaround??

I scripted this once ago, too. It has a bit more features, than the one from Alvaro. So here it is.
