View Full Version : Need help making grip on desert eagle

If you go here http://www.joeken.com/Desert%20Eagle.jpg you can see the bumpy grip on the desert eagle. Now im wondering how is this done? Please be very specific because half of what you say I can not understand, for I am still a newb :blush: Thanks in advance.

P.S. If you know any good tutorials on this plz post them. thx

If the bump is what your after in the 3d package your using, then make a bump map for that part of the grip. Make a new image add alot of noise then do guassian blur. Should get you in the ball park. Or if it's just for a texture then do same then do and overlay with the colour you want on it. Quick and dirty but it gets the job done. :)
