View Full Version : Shooting HDR light probes - unwrap on mac??
Sciortino 02-12-2009, 01:18 PM So, I stole this thread title from one closed some time ago, but it applies perfectly.
Other than running Windows on a Mac so I can run HDRShop, is there anyhing yet that will let me unwrap my light probe photos on a Mac?
Thanks,
Tito

You can use Darwine (http://darwine.sourceforge.net/download.php), then you can use HDRShop in your Mac

Vertigoz,
Thanks for the tip. I ended up downloading wine-1.1.15.tar.bz2 from SourceForge.net.
I had to recompile wine (and had lots of permissions issues but worked through them) and finally got wine installed on a Mac Pro running OS 10.5.
I downloaded HDRShop.exe from hdrshop.com, then in Terminal typed "wine HDRShop.exe".
I can't believe it, but it runs and I just converted a mirror sphere photo to latitude-longitude format. That's all I've done so far, but it looks very promising.
Thanks!
