Hey there. Its been some time since i found out about Video Copilot and Andrew Kramer tutorials, and im still really excited about them and im learning a lot doing them.

HereŽs my second shot at one of them (the other its in my sig). Like i try to do in my previous one, i combined the lessons taught by Andrew with other things and techniques i learned during my time using After Effects to try and make a more polished effect. For this one,i even made actual fake blood :D It was a lot of fun shooting it and my mother and brother had a blast helping me with this.

Anyways, here it is:

IŽll try to make another one this weekend.

Any comments or critics are welcome :)

HA ha ha ha ha that looked like it would have been a fun project.
Nice job.
My only critique would be about the blood on the window it looked like strawberry syrup.
I would imagine that blood on a window getting hit with daylight from behind would still be a little more opaque & perhaps even with a little SSS.

Other that that I loved it. Keep posting these fun projects.

Hey alex, thanks a lot :) Im really glad you liked it.

About the blood in the window.. well, you hit the nail in the head, it is strawberry syrup, with some of that other syrup you use for pancakes and some blue colorant. I saw a couple of vids on youtube on how to make realistic fake blood, but they all use corn syrup, and i coulndŽt find it anywhere around here, so i had to use what i could find.

In the original vid the blood its even more transparent and pink, i had to put a mask on it and animate it in AE to make it look darker and red..der. I guess thereŽs always room for improvement eh...

Thanks for your comment, and yea, iŽll keep posting the tests
