Hi guys,

Here is my problem. I am using nurbs curves as control objects for the ik handles on my character rig. I have pole vector contrained the elbows and knees to curve objects and I want the controls to display only the 'translation' attibutes in the channel box. My question is how do I remove the rotate, scale and visibility attributes from my object??? Simply locking the attrubutes is not good enough because it looks ugly, and could very easily be broken by the animator.
I know this is possible because I've used rigs that have pole vector constraints and other controls with just translate attributes in the channel box.

PLEASE HELP ME!!

Thanks,
kiaran

Fear no more! The answer is at hand!

You don't actually delete the attributes, you just make them non-keyable. Open up the Channel Control (Window > General Editors > Channel Control).

Now you just select the attributes on the left, and click Move to make them non-keyable.

Then they won't be visable in the Channel Box!
