ok few things, try using same style fonts, u seem to have two? diff types.
the red thing, just wondering what dat was, and the huge stripe on the left is very strong. When i scroll down, dass gonna be a huge impact.
Maybe you have too many elements on ur page, and your "menu" bit is hardly getting any attention.
I was thinking, maybe you could get rid of ur red bg and let ur face take over it, make it bigger or something with softer colour, also soften the stripe and give more emphasis to ur menu section. also maybe kill either ur top "zeroth" or the left one, when i say kill i mean soften it up a bit.

just few suggestions,

well, keep up the nice work, and update us as you progress, i think it would look nice when it's complete.

I agree with what was said above. I also think that you shuld put an 'end cap' on that top image. The way it just flows out into the white bacground without something at the end to tie it together into the grid is a bit distracting.

The second "zeroth" is definitely distracting, and the left stripe is far too strong as said above.
