View Full Version : question: (game) car recommendation?

I will be modeling a low-poly race car for a poster about gaming.
(It won't have to actually function in a game)
Can anyone recommend an "all purpose" car that you would normally see in a game like gran-turismo. What is a car that would have the most impact on gamers to see?

anyone?... Bueller?

Sorry Wes - I know nothing about cars - been playing GT though, so a Mazda of some kind would be ok, - i guess - or a Mini Cooper. Ahh - donīt listen, as I said I know nothing about cars and their appeal.....

My vote would be for the Viper or second a Corvette Z06.

1964 chevy impala, that or something from fast and furious. Those cars are very well known nowadays.

I personlly would choose a BMW Z8 but thats just my personal prefrence.

if its for a game looking kind of thing, I'd make a big bulky touring cars

Thanks alot for the recommendations, guys.
I think I might end up going with the ferrari or one of squidincs options. Although I like the Viper best, I think it's organic nature and very specific body style might be a little out of the budget range for this job.

How about a raced up Nissan Skyline? They look pretty cool with race fairings etc. :)

Thats exactly what I was going to say. But I bet the Skyline is not as well known as some of its big bro's *viper/ferrari/lambo*
