Title: A Victorian Wench
Name: Stephanie Lawrason
Country: USA
Software: Photoshop

First serious human painting I've ever done, first time I've ever completely colored clothing, colored human skin-- and all that jazz. So go easy on me :). I normally find myself drawing wildlife and fantasy creatures, so when this person came to me about this image, I was simply honored.

I'm currently working on a portfolio so I can get into college, and I think this was a major step for me.

It depicts her character, Lydia, as a member of the Deviant Victorian Society, and her loyal Ocelot pet. DVS is a group of modern victorians trying to escape the heat of World War III by shelling it's reality by dressing in a fashion that makes them seem from a time that was much different.

Done in Photoshop CS2 with self-made brushes, no references used.

Nicely done! While I wouldn't say the painting is perfect, your use of colors and abstract-ish shapes to create atmosphere is wonderful!
