hi, im trying to simulate hard bodies from the tutorial that came along with Reactor.

i have 2 pieces of geometry. one plane moving up and down and having 0 mass. so this is what the other piece of geometry is going to act on.

the other piece is a box that has some mass to it and is affected by gravity. this piece should fall onto the plane.

normally all goes well but if i were to move the plane and keyframe it to move up and down, nothing works. or sometimes the box would move down and hit the original position of the plane.

sorry it sounds confusing but believe me, i don't know why Reactor is acting this way.

any clues?

Use a very thin box instead of the plane (or soldify www.maxplugins)
Set the box properties in reactor to unyielding.
This should do...
Unfortunaley the reactor help is total crap, compared to the other max´s help files.
