I have mocapped data that I need to clean up; the character i’m using has about 6 spine lines and I need them to somehow edit them during clean up. If i plot it to the bones I’m able edit the extra spine links however for some reason it doesn’t preserve the connection to the arms/ head. If I plot it to the control rig then I only can edit the one joint. The capture isn’t bad I just am going through to tweak the animation and add depth and character.. This probably seems to be the one issue the client has with the data aside from jitters that need to be cleaned up

I have attatched images of what happens when you use either method.. when using the control rig and I rotate the clavicle control point it rotates the whole back instead of the top.. is this something i’ll need to re assign in the rig setup and re characterize?

Hi,

control rig supports several spine links, so I guess you need to avoid some full body mode manipulation. Try to lock the torso and pelvis ik's in your control rig, switch editing to body mode or selection mode and make some adjust. I suppose everything will be ok.

P.S. I'm not found any attached image.
