It's Tinkerbell from Disney's Peter Pan. I wanted to have this rather realistic and ethereal look to the piece; something similar to what you see in certain fantasy images.
I painted this on November 2007 with Photoshop 7 and a trackball mouse (from beginning to end). I also did this all on 1 layer. No reference pictures were used as well.
