View Full Version : Final Gather in Vue 7 Xstream (Max 9)

When I am rendering Vue 7 Xstream in Max 9 using Mental Ray do I have to use the Mental ray method of rendering every nth frame with Final Gather to help clean up the noise in the renders ?

To answer my own question, it has help immensely to do the pre-rendered final gather in mental ray then apply it to the final render.

The render went from strobing noisy trees to pretty grand looking normal trees !

Hopefully this might help some other people.
