Well, my organic modelling skills are very lacking and I thought it was about time to do some practicing. This is my start on a beast type character:

Crits and comments are appreciated. Please bash it and point out things that look odd. I need the feedback.

Small update. Ears added and some minor tweaks.

I know there are some meash issues on the ear. They will be fixed later.

By saying 'model more' I think GMASK was trying to say that it's difficult to critique your model when all we have to look at is an eye. Generally when doing a WIP it's best to wait until you have a sizeable amount of the model done (to your liking) before you post. Then revise what you have and add more based on other people's feedback.

I like what I'm seeing so far, looking forward to updates.

Exactly.. until your second image I would have thought the nose was going to go where the ear is currently.. but now that I look it more closely you have that blow hole to the left and there is the little thingy in the eye ..anyway..

OK. Sorry for that, I usually don't get any comments on my stuff here, and I got a little hasty/defensive in my reply.

Thanks for the feedback. That is the stuff I want to hear. I need to get better at this organic stuff, and everything else. I just do this for the fun of it. Not professioanlly or looking for work.

BTW, this is being modeled and rendered in Blender. Just wanted to put that in there, in case anyone was wondering. I may export and render in YAFray when complete.

Here is an update:

I will play around with adding more features, etc. later on. Just want the main shape blocked in for now.

Let me know what you think.
