View Full Version : Explosion with objects. How?
unwrap 02-09-2009, 01:08 PM Hi. I need to make an animation where a bunch of objects (such as letters) have to explode from one point. They need to explode and get bigger as they move away from the explosion point, also they need to rotate. I have already made the object meshes. I suppose I can key the scaling and the rotation part, but I dunno how I should make the explosion. What is the best way for doing this? I'm using 3ds max 7. Thanks.

have you looked into using reactor and Pflow together?It will save you having to keyframe.
Also,Rayfire would be perfect for this as it has an Xplosion(bomb) object.But i don't know if it's available for Max7.
