I have a set of tools I have been developing for the past few years, I am considereing putting these on my site for download but first I thought I would gauge the interest..Here are some of the key features -

· Fully customizable skeleton setup.
· Perfect for game development as well as production characters.
· Rig your character in minutes.
· Import and Export joint positions to speed up workflow.
· Intuitive animation system.
· Transfer animations between rigs, regardless of resolution.
· Import motion capture.
· Built in dynamics system to aid with animating hair or cloth.
· Swap between FK and IK during your animation.
· Mirror your animation with one click.
· Rotate your character with this eay to use tool.
· Convert the animation to run on the spot.
· Work on multiple characters in a single scene.

More information can be found on my site - ant-online.co.uk (http://www.ant-online.co.uk) - in the Creature Tools section although this talks about version 2, and I am now nearing version 4.

Thanks for your time!

looks fascinating. would love to give it a try! would consider paying if I found it useful (and provided it wasn't *super* expensive)

looks interesting.
I would be interested to try it out too.
How did you give dynamic to the joint chain on the cape and the tail?

Any tools to help the work flow are always wanted.

As far as people willing to pay, I guess a lot of people would want to try before they buy.

Great, I am just putting together some basic documentation...Should be up by the weekend.

Actually, I am just thinking about prices, do these seem fair? Too hign, too low?

Gold Package - Includes the tools, free unlimited updates and technical support - £80
Silver Package - Tools plus technical support - £50
Bronze Package - Tools - £20

For the silver and bronze package, updates will be about £10 each.

For me, your suggested prices seem very reasonable, but unless there is a (more or less) fully functional trial-version, I doubt many people will be willing to pay the cash upfront!

Maybe you should release the first version for free to get some reputation for your software and then sell an improved and updated version later on?

The princing seems very good, I've got just one question will they work with maya 5 for Mac OS X ??

I will be releasing a "Lite" version which will be a free download so people can have a taste.

I should think it would work with Maya 5 as it is all script based rather than a compined plug in...

Well if it doesn't work well under OS X I will be willing to alter it for you...see if I can get it to work.

That would be great, I will be in touch when I have a copy fro you to test...

As for paying, at the moment I don't know how to set up an on-line paying system...but I am looking into it...Any help with this would be appreciated :)

fine, you can contact me here:

maxx10@myrealbox.com

And for your online store either you ask your provider or use an online transaction service, the easiest to set up would be

PayPal (http://www.paypal.com/)
