Stepunk 06-30-2003, 09:29 AM It is the starting point of my dragon project...
It's made with 3d studio max 5
It take me about 5 hours of modelling
What do you think about it? Any c&c?

It's looking good so far. It actually looks a lot like a model wip I did a while ago. I couldn't figure out how it should have looked, but I think you capured it. ;)
Just add more detail, and maybe make the horns look like they are coming out from under the skin.

hi stepunk, i like it so far, but i think your putting to much detail into it. just on the horns for exp you barley notice them little extrudes, i would leave alot of things up to bump mapping.

umm...yea...i think that you are right... :)
sometimes i will put some details that can be done with a bump map, i do that because i'm not a good texturer
:hmm: :D

Overall it looks pretty good, but i think that the corner of the nouth might need some different kind of edges, the large fold heading backwards toward the rear of the head just doesn't seem right. Also, where the horns connect to the skull, that should be a really sharp transition, not puffy looking.
Overall a good wip

I'd say it's 'inspired' from that dude Reeks

his neck looks to long and thin, theres no vein or muscle definition in the neck, jsut one long tube, maybe change that, but rest looks good

thanks to all who have replied
but i've decided to remake all the dragon :)
Because this mesh is too chaotic, and i don't like it :)
(it is the second "organic" model that i do, so i've a lot of things to learn :))
Bye..
the next week i'll start the new dragon..
