Yep, you guessed it, the biography of John Carmack and John Romero and the rise to power of id Software.
I am up to page 177/300, and it is a good and easy read so far.
This was released in hardcover in May, so this is sorta old news, but I don't remember seeing a post about it here. I stumbled upon it last night when I was browsing around the computer graphics section of the local Border's Books.
Although something of a minor part of the book, it does describe the different technical challenges faced with the new generations of graphics engines. Good stuff.
