Hi I am new here but I would really appreciate any comment and critique on this work in progress. It started a a bunch of spots drawn with a water brush in PS now I think it is coming toger and I would like to receive some C&C

Ah come on guys, I'm stuck and in dire need of ideas. :)

well its pretty hard to give advice here for two reasons:
-you have no main focus in the image yet
-it started out as blobs so not even you know where this is going.
...you could try to apply the rule of thirds etc but my advice would be to decide on small areas you want the focus to be on (maybe think of a storyline to the picture if it helps) and to get an opinion of the composition yourself.
If you don't tell us the slightest about the direction you actually want to go with this ...no one can really help. right now one could either like the green round things or prefer them to be red pointy things.
my guess would be you want the rock with the man-made walkarounds to be the focus... well... if you do ...there is no real line to direct the viewers attention to that spot yet.
google up on the rule of thirds, or if you already know about it, try to direct the viewers attention to one or more points accordingly :)
Also, if you want a realistic sunrise/sundown you miss purple, red and orange in the sky and on the rocks. (unless its an alien planet with less/no O2)

Well, I have thought of some storyline and I have an inspiration ( if you have been to Greece and Meteora in particular you would know what I mean). I would say this guy is a drifter an outcast that found some sort of energy in that rock a built his how surrounding it. This valley was once an ocean so the rocks were smoothened and tinted in the greenish color I use.
I'll check the rule of thirds since I cannot quite recall it fully(been a while since I last painted).
Thanks for the comment mate, really appreciate it.

Update, croped it up a bit(still getting into the rule of thirds), addind some details on the rocks, crispier image, added red and purple in the sky and enchanced the story with a face in the stone which suggest some sort of an alien or aztec/mayan culture that have found the energy source before our man.
