Hi has anyone seen this yet? it was listed on the Yafray page.
Bagisas is a free and open graphical user interface for Yafray. Yafray is a raytracer (Yet Another Free RAYtracer) released under the LGPL and very popular in the Blender user-community, because of the excellent blender to yafray export scripts Yable/YableX . The format for yafray scenes is XML and therefore human-readable but not very well editable with a standard text editor (although possible). This is where Bagisas steps in: Bagisas allows you to quickly browse the complete XML-tree and easily change attributes of any element using a attribute/value-table. You can even render your file directly from Bagisas (thumbnail view included). Bagisas is developed with Python (PIL, wxPython & PyXML).

or theres a link on yafrays homepage it looks cool.

Hello,

OS X has Python 2.2 pre-installed and the other libraries can be installed, I think, as OS X is unix based.

I'm no programmer, but does anyone know if Bagisas can be run on os x. I've got an email in to the developer...

thanks,

takayuki

I don't use OSX, but I think it should work if you compile it on OSX.

takayuki,
let us know how it turns out.

Have you gotten the command line to work yet?

I use OSX and would be very interested in this! My guess would be that if you can compile it in OSX it should work, unfortunately I wouldn't have a clue about compiling :o( Love to know if you get it running Takayuki! - Baz

...to play with Yafray, and this will probally be the pushing factor.

That and the clearification of how Yafray implements into Wings3d, found on the board and new manual.
