hi guys

my problem is i need an imported dialogue to start at a certain frame and not instantly. is there a way in max to do this?

i've tried the track view and you can't move the soundwave. i've also looked up the help files, tried using the audio clip and sound helper, which didn't work for me.

i've already done some animation for my character so i don't particularly want to do the morphers first then redo the animation.

also, i read somewhere you could just add silence to the audio file then import it back to max. is this the only way?

thanks

Are you using max 5? I have no problems moving the sound there, just open dope sheet, and there you are able to move the sound where you want it.
Cán´t remember how it was done in 4, although it was possible too.

Or try soundtrax from http://www.boomerlabs.com/
It´s comercial but maybe the demo version will do for the moment.
