View Full Version : How do I put a 3D Model into a video editing program like Adobe Premiere?

Hey,

The subject pretty much says it all. I just want to make a little model and stick it in to adobe premiere to edit into some live video. Thanks in advance.

well, you can't get 3d models in premiere, you have to create the animation or still in your 3D application and take the rendered footage into your NLE. And If you want to do camera matching you better go the other way and get the background footage in max...

You gotta render it out with an Alpha Channel (targa, Tiff, quicktime), in premiere go to the transparency settings and make the channel transparent.

also aftereffects 5.5 pro. comes with the Zaxwerks Inveg. plugin that imports 3ds files, don't know if this is applicable for premiere but you know that it's easy to integrate both of'em for best results.

But I tend to get a little agitated sometimes!
Especialy when people post something that has absolutely nothing to do with the Topic(tred)!
And ontop of that, i dont like bad wipes.
