Hello everybody,
I'd like to invite all modo artists to participate in building the collection of assets at a new site I've created (Feb. 1st, 2009) at ModoModels.com (http://www.modomodels.com)
The idea is to provide a modo-only collection of models, scenes, artwork, and tutorials, with the bonus being that modo artists get exposed to each other. If you (understandably) don't want to give away your best models, perhaps you'd consider contributing a "part", or an "assembly". Models as simple as a thumbtack, or as complex as you like, are all welcome. Tips, Tricks, and Tutorials are always welcome, too.
Later, when we have some momentum, I'll also provide a secure way to sell models on the site, which you'd rather not give away free. You retain all rights, of course.
Please go check out the site, and get a feel for what it could be. There's not much there yet, because I hope that most of the content will come from YOU! I've already installed a large menu hierarchy, and of course it will expand over time. I'm kicking things off by offering some of my own work free, hoping that you will follow. There's an "About" page and a "Contributor Guidelines" page, to further explain.
