hi, i made this picture two years ago, and haven't find time to create anything new, i mean beside some testrenderings.
http://www.ndel.org/3d_art/olina3-1000/olina3-1000.html
Modeling in Rhino, Poser3, Organica -rendering in MAX -a lot of textures are darktree-procedurals.A few figures were downloaded and modifed.
Rendered in layers, combined in PS, no painted retouch. The original size is 3000x2670, which you can find here

Hope you like it ...woooahh the starwars-fever hits me again

There looks to be a vast amount of work in it, how much did you do?, it really impresses me that so much can go into a scene. The girl is nice too, it would be nice to see a mesh of her, or some other angles. What will it be, or was it used for?

Way cool!
But I´d loose the text... it´s kinda obvious that she means buisness!
Keep it up!

Awesome Pic!

Personally, I think the lighting is perfect for the location. The level of detail in this piece is incredible. How long did it take you to make the whole thing and put it all together?

My only criticism (and I don't think it necessarily needs to be changed) is the shaders for the jedi chick seem a little too specular to me. The overall effect is still wonderful and somewhat reminiscent of a comic book cover or something.

Got any more?

Do I see Buz Lightyear in the image??
Looks good but it doesn't have the SW feel to it
Too clean to be SW, but very good none the less :D

thanks to all !!

to tpe -was made for fun ! ...
to the lightsaber question: if you look closely (can't really see it in the 1k-res) there is a belt with an attachment-ring, where she lifts up her skirt:)

this was made in 99, also for fun- cause i found this great terminatormodel
in the internet -don't know anymore who made it - is/was great work.
Whole thing was made with rhino, and rendered in Maya1.5 or so
Again very low quality due this 50000bytes border.

Haha ... the first one is excellent. Perhaps a great twist on the regular view of Star Wars. I'd say that kind of pic is worthy for the cover of a novel.

Nice

Nice pic.
The scene fits nicely into the SW universe.
One comment though, the lightsaber is missing a bright core in the blade.

So are there really chick Jedis? Never see anything about 'em.

Actually there are.
Writer Timothy Zahn introduced a female jedi called Mara Jade.
