ive been moddeling some simple walls
i use the chamfer to change a line into a segment and then i extrude the poly's on one edge to make a t section.
after hours and hours of doing this without a problem
i start having crashes when i even go near the chamfer button,, and max backup doesnt work..
ive swapped between the edit mesh and edit poly,
exported the mesh to a 3ds and then imported it again and it still crashed when i chamfer,,
i think theres something wrong with my max and will have to reinstall it,
ive alreayd repaired the installation once and that didnt fix it,
has anyone else experienced a similar problem and gotten around it?..
