I liked the idea of the steampunk challenge, but i didn't really feel like entering (I'm pretty sure I also missed the deadline) but I still wanted to have a go.

So here's my david and goliath, just a quick layout, what do you guys think, what should I do to it to make it better?

Hi, yeah it's a great subject isn't it. I missed the deadline too. I am going to fin though.

Its good as a little thumbnail sketch mate, but if it is the final layout I would sort out your perspective lines. everything is a bit wonky and going off in its own direction. the idea of mechanical goliath looming over the buildings is good but maybe you could make the buildings more victorian esque? do a few thumbnails and see what you come up with for difernent scenarios.

Thanks man, I think at this point, the steampunk element may die a little in this piece only because it's not required for me to do anymore, but I think I will try to make the buildings look a little more victorian however, because I think it will give it some more personality, and I will go back in and fix up the perspective, Thanks!

So I'm going to be modeling the head of the robot in 3ds max tomorrow morning, so I got some sketches ready to put in the view ports, Right now it's kinda like a robot-dog, but I would only be using it's head in my final sketch, and just thought it would be fun to give it legs as a stand alone project
