View Full Version : no .mov file extension with Windows XP 64bit?
i need to save my animation in .mov.
I have quicktime but this filetype doesn't appear in the 3dsmax list. I did some research and apparently theres a solution.
Anybody care to give me a trustworthy URL.
thanx

Do you run max in 64 bit? If yes thats your problem.
QT is not 64 bit and unless this changes 64 bit apps can't make use of it.

You should install the 32bit version of 3DSMAX on that machine. The same MAX license will work for both the 64 bit and 32 bit installs.
In general, If you use the 32bit version of your software apps, you can use the 32bit QT libraries to generate QT files. Even when using XP64.

in quicktime pro you can just open the image sequence.
I highly recommend QT Pro to anyone, best 20 quid ever spent
