For some reason when I use burn or dodge I get this crap http://www3.telus.net/public/a5a74994/problem.jpg If anyone knows how to fix this plz reply, thx in advanced.

u need to adjust your "brush spacing" and change it to 0. What u have there is set to like 25% or something like that so the brush repeats itself every 25% of the way.... check ur brush options... there's something there for spacing. I don't have photoshop open @ the moment to give u the exact locale of the thinger... besides, it depends on what version of photoshop you have.

Actually, doesn't matter what version. The brush "Spacing" option is always located within the general Brush Options palette.
