I’m trying to get a real stylized look, a real rough edge line style. I found that with TomCat Toon shader I have had a lot of success, but I really would like to get a grittier look going. If anyone has had any luck with what brush setting or options that work better in the program please let me know.

Here are some renders that I have come up with:

I wish I could get a more gritty look like this, maybe more griddy:

I also really like the way the shading is going on with this one too.

Thanks,

Think I got it looking a bit better...

Stroke Quality = 8
Pressure Maps = TubeLength

Stroke Quality = 1
Pressure Maps = PathFollow

Wish the clipping had more controls because you can see the hidden geometry in the dirty one. Also wish there were more controls on the way it finds the contours, like have attributes for each (Silhouette, Boundary, Crease, and Material) that controls Min Edge Angle so you can bring out more detail when needed. But this program is got to be the best thing out there. I can’t believe Maya didn’t think of using there own tools like this. I'm sure it will get bought up by them and incorporated into a future version.

Keith, could you update your images, I only see red crosses...

Still I like the subject coming up here, as I really love this plugin myself!! Maybe we can exchange some ideas and presets, cause the included ones aren't that many...
