Hey there,

The VFX Supervisors for the three Oscar nominees for the VFX category in 2009 made themselves available to CGSociety. We asked Eric Barba, Paul Franklin and Ben Snow a series of questions about their work and the work of the other contenders. Click the image, DIGG and comment.

Come to think of it, the three vfx nominees also happen to be the films I enjoyed seeing most this year. I loved all three films but would put my money on Benjamin Button for the vfx oscar. Good luck to you all!

Great films. It was cool be have contributed to one of them. I imagine the mark2 pan around and the mark3 suit-up are what's really pushing Iron Man in this. But a lot of people didn't even know there were so many digital mark1's, so I guess hooray for invisible effects!

Indeed, all three were totally awesome.. But personally, I'll have to say my vote goes to Benjamin Buttons.. it was wayy too amazing and mind-blowing for me to think they did all that.

All of these people should be really proud, thanks for the share! :)
