View Full Version : Painting with the Color Picker dialog visible [?!]
xissburg 02-02-2009, 02:06 AM Is it possible to paint while the color picker is still visible? Well, it doesn't seems possible to me but I'm asking anyway...who knows it does...but it SHOULD do...

But you can screenshot your monitor(with opened color box) and then crop that image just to see box. Then place it on your image as new layer.
Hope that helps

another question would be why would anyone like to have the color picker open...

I often need to pick colors, different colors to bring lots of variations in my paintings, then I need to keep opening the ColorPicker, picking a color, closing it, and so on....it would be a lot better if I could let it opened everytime, then I just pick the color and done...wont it be useful for you? I dont know why it wouldnt...and, if the color picker wasn't modal, it would not make a difference for the ones who like it as modal. =X

Any particular reason why the Colour palette doesn't suffice?
