hey,
have a question about directional light&depth map shadow in maya, i heared there's some settings for the direction light can be using for cost depth map shadow only on the obj u wanna it cost the shadow, or control depth map shadow only cost in some specify area of the scene! "not the lighting link" as i know, it may some setting else with directional light&depth map shadow which i cant figure it out by myself! apprecated if anyone can tell me more about that, or any idea about that!

Thanks anyway man, i just started to learn maya, i know 3dstudio max which i dont really like cuz it doesnt run as good as maya,. I dont have any questions this instant, but when i get them ill ask you if you dont mind, . As i said b4, i can help you with web design or whatsoever,.

yah, go to your objects properties turn off recieve shadow.
