maybe you could 'smoothen' out her skin a bit, too, make it a bit more surreal...
and I think you missed a spot in the background next to her chin.

Looks good. If you've drawn the tatoo on a seperate layer with a mask, it wouldn't be too difficult to animate the tatoo. You could maybe grow the tatoo by drawing each frame on a new layer - so you could change opacity and see the progression of frames.
You would need to bring the .psd file into a compositing program like After Effects to put it all together. If the .psd is too much for AE to handle you could save each frame of the tatoo sequence as an aplha masked TGA file and import then composite those.
It would be a lot of work (isn't all hand drawn animation?), but it could be done.
Hope you give it a go!

Very nice work man. The second image is very nice. I think i'd like her better with closed eyes, but that's your concept. Also, on the lower part of the tear trails, the make-up (whatever) she used beneath her eyes, is starting to look like coal. Maybe lower the opacity at the lower part, and make it more wet?

Here's an little update on the piece. I've changed the mascare, I've given the end a bit more opacity. And I added more tattoo, just to see if it would look better. Tell me what you think.

I really like the tattoo, has a very elvish feel to it.

I would think about comping out the berette and hair band? It's detracts from the impact of the piece.

the main problem here is not to over do the while thing
a tad here and a but there is what i would do

a bit under the lip and chin and a bit on the neck

OR
give up what u made so far and do a bit on he forehead go down on the nose
a but on teh cheeks and a bit on the chin and go down to the neck.

a berette (i think that's how you spell it), is that little metal clip next to the hair band. The hair band and the berette detract from the 'reality' of the picture, at least for me.
