hi ! I just finished the renders for the new Licoln Aviator I modeled (3dsmax 5, mesh modeling). Hope you like it. All are rendered with v-ray, used diffrend hdri maps, first one is a composite, of curse. The modeling was done by 10 images found on the net (the only usable ones), and no blueprints, so I hope I got it right.
for the ones who can't see the images , these are the links for them. I think you'l have to copy the link and paste it into the browser.

I am almost sure people would comment IF THEY COULD SEE THE IMAGES

Glad to see someone not modelling 'exotics' :D
The proportions look alright, except for the headlight area.
As for the composite render, the reflection on the glasses are too blurry, while the reflections of 'actual' cars are pretty crisp.
Also, the shadow on the front of the car is too sharp, it needs to be smoother IMO.
Nice work BTW, (please don't get mad at me for picking only the negative aspects :p

your "fotorealisitic" render has very very shoddy look to the glass, the second render however looks very good, what happend to the glass on the fotorealistic one?

I changed the map for the windshield andwindows (the problem was that it was a very small hdri, and the reflections seemed blurry. hope this is better
again, if no image, copy/paste the link

the street one is great..
just work on the tyres a bit (the way the land on the road..), and its a little bit shinier compared to the other cars..

Ahh, it looks much better now
looks great, just a bit too clean so it doesn't fit in the composite. dirty it up a bit and it'll be gorgeous, nice work.
Yea! Great work! The tires are awesome but the rest is too clean. What kind of lighting did you use?

I think the perspective is kind of incorrect, like compared to the cars at the top-left of the image.
Tell me if i'm wrong or right :P cuz i'm interested cuz it looks kinddddd of wierd
I also think the lighting is a bit weird, and the shawdow udner the car is way too "long"
AWESOME JOB ON EVERYTHING ELSE! THIS SHOULD BE IN THE GALLERY! ;)

there, this realy should be the final one.
thanks for the comment, yes, the perspective is diffrend from the other cars, but then again , the car is on the wrong band, and also it is parked. I don't think the shadow is to long, looking at the other cars and judging by the angle of the rear mirror's shadow.

I think the shadow is too long...look at the van in the background, that is a very tall vehicle yet its shadow is not very long...It looks as though the sun is at like 1-3 O'Clock if 12 is straight up...
the glass is looking better
and i like it!

the front fender is NEVER connected to the a-pillar ;)

there, I made some last (i hope changes ) :) Thanks Daniel, I don't know how I missed it. About the shadow. Well the shadow, like I said, by the angle of the shadow of the rear mirroir is ok. The van in the background is almost perpendicular to the camera, so you realy can't see the shadow very much. Also I increased the size, made some little photoshop retouching, I hope is better now. And thanks everyone for the comments.
