well the project with the tree looks better than the theatrical scene...in the theatre, the lightning is too dark.
The tree is fine but I don't recongnize the lines near it. Are they grass or lines of fire?
Your character is cute, kind of the "boy next door" :)
Maybe you could use some textures for the clothes and the environement...I know it's difficult, I'm not very confortable with textures myself but I think it could improve your image...

thanks for the feedback. I wanted to keep the model as clean as I can which is why its largely lamberts (MAYA) Why is no one else responding?

I'm working on compressing the movies and uploading them somewhere. IN animation, the theatre one actually looks much better. I actually followed the link on the freehosting thing to lycos.com but then the webpages/hosting is on tripod. What is up with that.
