Title: Portrait of Clemence
Name: Antony Bagnis
Country: France
Software: Photoshop

At the beginning, this illustration was an exercise. I took a picture and tried to reproduce it. Finally, I modified few things and I spent something like 30 hours on it.

Here is the fulls scale version of the illustration :

The original picture is from a french actress, Clémence Poésy, that you can find here :

Any comment is welcome of course, and I hope you'll like it ! ^^

You have a real solid start here. The lace and corset are really something. The pendant looks a bit flat though. Try curving it with the lace instead of so straight.

I think you might also want to research some skin painting tutorials. More specifically the color tutorials. Skin is a very hard thing to master. I myself am still working on it. I would say try to mix some of that green in the shadow areas from the ambient reflections from the green background. Also, stay away from straight up black. Use a real dark blue or red instead. You will get a much richer feel to your shadows.

All in all keep at it man. Good stuff

The hair is amazing!

Great job, though I agree about the black shadows.

Thanks for the replies and the tips !

I'll try as you said for the shadows and I'll actively search for tutorials. ^^
