pzanna 01-29-2009, 08:30 AM Hi Guys,
Just finished my first live action short film and thought you may like to take a look -

All the CG elements were done with Messiah (Backgrounds, Planes, Guns). Match moving was done in Syntheyes and exported to Messiah as LWS.

Good job! What about the explosions? Messiah particles or 2d-sprites? Just one q, why did you use 3d-guns instead of replicas?

Hi Breed47,
The explosions were from http://detonationfilms.com/. As for the guns, unfortunately ALL replicas are banned here in Australia (no airsoft or anything). The only other option was real guns from a film armourer, but the budget ( which was less then $500 US) wouldn't allow it.

Wow, I was expecting a lot of bluescreen in the before/after images. Very nicely done!
