Hi to all.
I'm having this problem and I'm not quite sure how to solve it.
Here's what I'm talking about
http://idisk.mac.com/dkatsafouros/Public/Lips.jpg

Notice the lip area. The polygons are starting to misbehave. Whatever I do can't bring them back to normal. Any amount of smoothing can't do anything to cure the problem. So what can I do to solve this issue? Is it because this is not a closed polygon area? Do you think I should have built a few more polygons inside the head?
Thanks in advance.

Hi,
exactly, you need some more polys going inside the mouth, the same for the eyes. Else it's hard to skulpt at those borders.

With your edge condition you do have a special situation, but I have been getting some lucky by dropping to lowest mesh resolution and smoothing there then working my way up one level at a time. Straightens out a lot of squogged meshes that I couldn't fix just at high density.

I managed to fix it but lesson learned!
I will build more polygons in those areas on the next model.
Do you think I should export the model as it is now to another modelling program (I use cinema 4d), build some more polygons and then take it back to zbrush?
It would probably save me some time rather than fixing the errors while I continue sculpting.
