froloss 01-13-2002, 02:26 PM i'm pretty new to al this 3d animation stuff, i'm lucking for any advice you more experienced chaps and chapesses could throw in my direction. i'm just doing this as a hobby so coughing up a small fortune for software isn't really viable. thanks.

You won't have to cough up a small fortune. Lots of people start off with Blender. Probably because of it's great price. (free)

Animation Master is also a good economical choice for a beginner, but it's not free. ($299)
