Hey Everyone!

I've written a tutorial about 3dsMax particles (http://www.mrbluesummers.com/?page_id=738)! I think you're going to like it. I take a rather conceptual view of particles, so it starts off a little slow. But as you get into page 2, you start to see all the ideas come together! We cover everything you need including deflectors and forces, and even cover a little particle flow!

Big hugs!

I'm so glad you guys liked it! I was really proud when this tutorial was done, but I was still a little worried that I'd glossed over one thing or another.

Let me know if you have further ideas. I'm actually just getting back from a weekend out of state, so tomorrow's Monday Movie is going to be a little short (a quick blurb about displacement quality in mental ray).

Don't have any particular ideas and I like the direction you're heading so far. So I like being surprised every monday. :)
I just wanted to tell you that I think it must have taken you a long time to put together the document about particles, with all the screenshots and illustrations. It looks very professional. Thank you for taking the time doing this. People often can't imagine how much time goes into something like that.

cheers,
Daniel

Hey, I'm glad you liked it. Sorry I've been gone so long, there's a lot on my plate right now. I'm also working on a new primer that'll be written in a similar way. I'll probably announce the topic in a few days!
