hey guys, I've not posted any images in ages :)
so I thought I'd post a couple of characters that I was going to enter in the renderosity contest, but in the end I couldn't find the time to finish the image, so here they are instead of just gathering dust on my HD :)

These are just great as usual!

I'm kind of glad you didn't enter. You certainly would have knocked me out of the running.:D

great work (as always). you should start making some more character design and modelling tutorials.

I like them, there simple yet they have a good amount of charcter and great texturing. However I feel that the bears ears should have been connected for a more organic feel, and his eyes look like there positioned wrong.

How often does renderosity have compitions like that often? They sound fun, I havent seen many C4D compitions...

very nice renderosity seems to have challenges every month or two. Just usually the prize is a pat on the back.

I love those pics dude have to agree about the ears though. very very good

Really nice...

I like the bear's texture - can you give a short tutorial or hint how you did that?

you can have the file if you like
download teddy.zip C4D 8.1 (http://www.m1k3.com/cgremote/teddy.zip)
( will need Ditools installed for the lighting to work properly )

Excellent Smither'sThose are some real nice characters you have there. The bear seems to be real and it looks like you can actually feel the plushness of him/her. And those eyes are captivating.... Really Excellent work.. Umm. those tuts??hehe
