Okay, I've been CG-ing for about half a year now, so I'm not a veteran or anything.
I'm not a particular fan of Twilight, but the other members in my project really want to do it -.-
Anyway, since I'm especially inexperienced in drawing male faces, I really need critique on this.
I was too lazy to crop it, but just focus on the guy face thingy in the far left.
I know the eyes are off, but I can't pinpoint what exactly it is that's off.
The hair looks slicked back, which is bad because I'm trying to make it look like it's being blown in the wind. If anyone has any advice on what I need to fix that, I'd very much appreciate it.
BTW, I'm eyeballing another awesome picture to use as reference for my drawing. I want the features on mine to be the same, but iI want the angle to be different.
Criticism is appreciated, but polite criticism is even more appreciated :P
(especially after hearing my sister say nothing except that he's ugly and the girl next to him is ugly :cry: )

critique on the girls on the right would also be appreciated, but it's mostly "Edward" I'm worried about :|

Hi

Unless your anatomy skills are good enough to draw the face accurately from any angle, don't try to "adjust" the angle of a reference photo - do it as it is or find another photo. Lay a grid over it to get all the placement correct in your line drawing, then paint. You will save yourself so much grief and frustration. Also, unless we CG-ers know exactly how your actor looks like from the angle you want, we aren't going to be able to give you sensible critique ("move the right nostril 1/16" to the right", etc).

Even if it's a slightly different angle from the original picture, I can se some major things that can be improved. The eyes are not too wrong, they're just too "long" on the inside side (the side closest to the nose).
His jaws should be more square, you made his face too thin and long on the painting.
For the hair to look more like it's being blown by the wind, try not to do all the clumbs going in the same direction; make it a little more chaotic, cause the wind is never like, a straight line blowing on your hair continuely.

On the girls, pay attention on their face anatomy: their noses are too large and wide, and their chins are too small. Think about the bone structure when painting faces.

Really appreciate the advice from both of you.
I'll try the grid thing later. I've never done one in photoshop yet and I'm googling that right now.
Anyway, I tried making the middle girl's face softer.
I redid all of his hair from scratch and tried to make his jaw more square.
Wasn't sure which eye you were talking about, I just made the one on the left a little shorter...
