this was original created for the steampunk myths and legends challenge, but it still needed some finishing touches.
it's from the story the nightingale, and was painted in painter using the artist oil brushes.
i'd love to hear some feedback

Hi Emma,
just stumbled across this. Your design is lovely and quite graphical. Makes me want to suggest that since you are already going in that direction why not go all the way? Crisper, flatter and bolder. Stylise it. Let it be all that it can be.

I recently saw 101 Dalmatians, old disney version (from 1959 I think?) and was blown away by the title sequence. Their shape design is a marvel to behold. You have some of that.

thanks for the comments, i agree, it needs to be crisper, my pen and ink illustration work is normally very graphic, but for some reason working in painter makes me a little obsessive about blending:>
