Working on an image of my son and learning my Intuos3. Gotta say I LOVE IT! don't know what the heck I was thinkin tryin to paint/draw without one!

It's almost scary.

You have now learned a very basic and very important art lesson. DON'T OUTLINE EVERYTHING!

Look at shapes, and look at line only so far as accent and directional eye guidance for movement.

Your concerns should always lie with Shape and Mass. Mass is intimated with value.

This is almost all the same value, and the outlining kills a lot of spontenaity and subtlety...

I suggest you save this one in the back of a file somewhere, to remind you of your beginnings, and then start over.
