hi peeps, this is my humble beginning in vray, i tried simulating the sun, by using the sun system in max, but im jus not gettin the sharp shadows when i use the raytrace type, and i get this, which looks like an overcast day scene, whereas i want it to be a noon scene with a soft yellow tinged sun(which is easily achievable) but the darn shadows!!! i even tried using some standard direct light/spotlight like i usually to simulate the sun but it doesnt seem to work. all i get are these hardly visible soft shadows under the spheres which is frm the skylight.
thanks a ton for ur patience

Use the VRay shadow type (it is better and faster than the Raytrace shadow)
