Hi there

when I paint texture Fully in photoshop, on places that color gradients or complex color shapes reach the border (seam) of unwrap pattern, it's so hard and almost near to impossible to match color on other side of texture (make it seamless).
is answer using softwares for painting on object such as bodypaint or there is another method and solution?
I almost solve this problem with hard working and copy/paste color on seams sides, but the result isn't precise as other texture that I see on internet.

thanks for any help

Hi
I sent this question and after research and email to pro texture painters found answer to How hide the seams,
I Bring it hear it may be be useful,
there are 3 major methods:
1 using 2 texture channels, one for whole model and another for covering near the main seams.
After painting the main texture with alpha that make texture vanish near the seams, you must paint another texture for seams with alpha (channel 2) that this texture vanish in opposite direction of seams.
2 using a guide pattern that is base on lines and gray shades, match it first and after that paint color.
3 use softwares such as zbrush (Projection master) to paint .

I used these methods all have benefits and problems that you must find which works for you.

cheers
